Awards & Scholarships
Teacher Scholarships
Teachers who administer the National Spanish Exam (NSE), the National Spanish Challenge (NSC), the National Spanish Assessment (NSA), and/or the National Portuguese Exam (NPE) are eligible to apply for conference stipends and travel scholarships.
Student Scholarships
Students who score well on the National Spanish Exam (NSE), the National Spanish Challenge (NSC), and/or the National Portuguese Exam (NPE) are eligible to apply for senior scholarships and travel abroad opportunities.
K8 Contest
Students grades 1 – 8 are eligible to participate in the national NSC Coloring Contest ¡Concurso Colorido! for a chance to win several prizes, including gift cards, goody bags, and a free National Spanish Challenge (NSC) voucher.
Medals, Ribbons & Certificates
Students who rank above the 75th percentile on the National Spanish Exam (NSE) or the National Portuguese Exam (NPE) earn medals of recognition for their high achievement. National Spanish Challenge (NSC) winners also earn Ribbons for their excellence.
