December 2021
This December Shout-Out goes to Spanish teacher Señora Stella Muñoz-Rodriguez of Jackson High School in Massillon, Ohio!
The head of the school's World Language Department, Roxanne Owen, says that, "Stella Muñoz-Rodriguez is nothing short of amazing. The consistent success of her students on the National Spanish Exam (levels 4-6), AP Language and Culture Exam, AP Literature Exam and STAMP 4S Language Proficiency Exam speaks to her devotion and dedication to high quality instruction, rigor and expertise in best teaching practices. She teaches 3 different high-level Spanish courses, advises the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (for which she spends endless hours planning activities and events that promote the Spanish language and cultures both within and outside of the school environment) and engages students in the scholarship application process. In addition, she is a mentor for language teachers in our school and our community. The impact on learning that she makes is always recognized by students who name her as their most influential teacher for K-12. Stella is a true leader. We are very appreciative of her drive for excellence."
Thank you, Señora Muñoz-Rodriguez, for everything you do for your students!
¡Todos a una! Todos por um!
